Hello There!

You are a bold one! You've found your way to the root directory of the University of Saint Thomas OpenWeb server, hosted through GitHub Pages. As the successor to CourseWeb and PersonalWeb, OpenWeb is a place where any member of the community can post and maintain their own web pages, with full use of HTML, Javascript, and Cascading Style Sheets. (Jekyll templating is an option, too.)

If you'd like to take advantage of this webspace (and have HTML/Javascript/CSS authoring skills), you should:

  1. Make a GitHub account (if you don't already have one).
  2. Link your St. Thomas account to your St. Thomas account, as described in the St. Thomas GitHub Readme.
  3. Create a repository containing your webpages.
  4. Configure the Pages settings in your repository for publication. St. Thomas-specific documentation on this is forthcoming (as of February 2023), but see GitHub's documentation in the interim.
  5. Need help? Contact the tech desk. GitHub Pages at St. Thomas is managed by the Enterprise Application Development team.

Please follow the Responsible Use Policy and don't do crimes!
